Aged for an average of two decades in oak barrels, this harmonious blend is a testament to the Norwegian producers in the Cognac region. The Bache Gabrielsen Premium XO Cognac is exceptionally smooth, yet lively and fruity.

Presented in an extra-special decanter, this eaux-de-vie of this blend has been aged for a minimum of 10 years - but considering its premium quality, some of the Cognacs contained within have been aged up to 30 years.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Hints of jasmin and iris blend perfectly with the fruity aromas of banana and prunes in addition to toasted hazlenuts, candied fruits, almonds and mocha.

Palate: Long on the palate revealing the famous and delicate presence of rancio, this is the reward we get for the patience we show over several decades to get this just right.

Finish: The finish has notes of cut hay and honey associated with the wood tannins which reveals a supple and generous cognac.
