Part of an intricate solera system for 55 years, the five antique butts selected had previously matured rich Pedro Ximenez: a naturally sweet Sherry style made from overripe white grapes which are sun-dried to concentrate the sugars.

Overflowing with indulgent attributes of forest fruits, warming mocha and Medijool dates, this remarkable single malt exemplifies Master Distiller Billy Walker's flair for wood innovation.

Presented at a high strength of 58.1% ABV, natural colour and non-chill filtered, the extraordinary charm of this Distillery Exclusive can truly shine through.

Tasting notes:

Nose: Espresso, brandied honeycomb and poached pears, with spiced orange, cinnamon-coated hazelnuts and buttercream.

Taste: Cocoa, raisins and heather honey, followed by caramelised sugar, mocha and maraschino cherries, with cinnamon and ginger on the finish.
