George Smith continues to inspire us today as we pursue the tradition of originality and move flavour forward at The Glenlivet Sample Room, which is at the heart of this collection. A place of continuous improvement and creation, this is where our makers spend their time crafting, testing, and refining our whisky until they achieve the finest balance.

This exquisite 25 year old expression has been created by fully finishing our whisky, in unique proportions, across first-fill Pedro Ximenez Sherry and Troncais Oak Cognac casks, bringing indulgent richness to the iconic smooth and fruity house style of The Glenlivet.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Chocolate ganache, plum jam and manuka honey. Aromas of fresh lemon zest, toasted cinnamon and orange blossom.

Palate: Complex, flavours of sweet fig and blood orange are complemented by warming ginger, toasted oak and a hint of charred pineapple.

Finish: Long and sweet with gentle spice notes.
