The Gospel Solera Rye is our everyday go-to, made for your mouth and not your display cabinet, it’s an essential spirit for every home bar. It embodies classic rye flavours in an approachable soft and smooth way - an accessible rye with more character than you would expect.

Shaped by our unique solera maturation system, Solera Rye delivers an American style rye whiskey with a unique easy-going Australian attitude.

The Gospel Solera Rye is double distilled and aged in a five-tiered bespoke solera system of new American oak, second fill American oak and Australian red wine barrels.

Utilising ancient technology that for centuries has been used to perfect sherry, port, and even beer, our rye spirit moves through this unique system, resulting in a distinctively flavourful spirit that perfectly balances sweet and savoury.

Our whiskey is made using 100% Australian grown unmalted rye from a single farm in the Murray Mallee region of South Australia, one of the driest regions of the driest country in the world. Specifically chosen for its harsh climate, the rye from this area is small and dense – renowned for its distinct, extraordinary flavour and is unmatched by rye from other areas.

The Gospel Solera Rye is full of the character from the soil from which it originated, with its unique terroir imparting the resilient rye grain flavours onto the palate.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Baking spices, rich caramel sweetness, stewed plum with port wine.

Palate: Sweet oak, orchard fruits, dark toffee, brown sugar and bright spices.

Finish: Rich and long finish, carrying dried fruits and fresh spice.
