Matured in Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon red wine casks, a first for Ardbeg, then married with American Oak Casks (ex-Bourbon).

The Napa Valley region of California, is known for its highly sought after Cabernet Sauvignon red wine casks. With a heart matured in Cabernet Sauvignon casks and married with classic ex-bourbon barrels, this whisky is a bold and rich spirit.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Deep and intense, floral fragrance mingles with rich smoke and menthol.

Taste: Smoked plums and bonfire embers twist around aromas of jasmine and baked rye bread.

Finish: Truffles and tarry rope lead into espresso and antique leather before eucalyptus and camphor soothe the palate.
