Young and exuberant, the Baron Otard VS Cognac is a blend using eaux-de-vie from the first four appellations. While Grande Champagne gives a powerful structure and mineral content, Petite Champagne brings vigour, Borderies a sweet floral note and Fins Bois an abundance of orchard fruits. The minimum age in the blend is three years, with the first six months spent in new barrels to allow the wood to express all its flavor. The Limousin oak chosen for these casks is famous for its rich vanilla notes, which clearly comes through on the nose of this VS Cognac.Additional Information:
