Still Austin Bottled in Bond Straight Texas Rye Whiskey 750mL

2025 Release

For this spring release, represented by the rabbit, we used the bright spice of 100% Texas-grown rye to conjure feelings of new beginnings, bold ideas, and fresh perspectives. This is the taste of spring, in all its glory.

“For the 2025 Bottled in Bond Straight Rye Whiskey release, we took a different approach to slow water reduction than in previous expressions,” said head distillery John Schrepel in a statement. “We gradually brought the barrels down to 105 proof over time and let them rest at that proof for a full year. This process softened the tannins, resulting in a smoother, richer mouthfeel while enhancing the bright fruit notes on the nose.”

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Honey, sweet citrus, baking spices, cherry pie and tart pastry.

Palate: Honey, rhubarb pie, black tea, candied ginger, light cherry cola and red hard candy.

Finish: Long finish, pink peppercorn, almond butter and fig.
