About:
This Irish whiskey which has been made from malt and grain whiskies aged for over three years is called after an area in Dublin called Liberties.
The area was once called 'Hell' in the 18 century and it is said that a carved oak devil stood watch over the entrance to the Liberties, but disappeared. Legend has it that the carving was made into whiskey barrels, where the dark spirit consumed the maturing spirit.
